UH okay so I admit, I haven't 100% worked out what Umar's deal is, but I think he's a prophet, like, he can communicate with some or all of the gods on some level

this is awkward because his girlfriend is Aldaserian, aka Fantasy Jewish, and also an abomination unto the gods

these two things are unrelated

but obviously it's hard to bring up the second one without her thinking it's about the first thing

Umar can't, like, have what you'd call a "conversation" with any gods, but he can get impressions and possibly magic powers
