Yeah, she was from the LaRouche PAC cult and they're about as loony as their namesake, Lyndon, who died earlier this year. They took credit for it.

Ok. I picked up this little tidbit about LaRouche himself. He was convicted of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and spent 5 years in a federal prison. That's not the weird part. He shared a cell with televangelist Jim Bakker who later said, "to say LaRouche was a little paranoid would be like saying that the Titanic had a little leak."

When crazy Jim Bakker says something like that, imagine how extreme LaRouche must've been.

Hilda : Someone from the LaRouche PAC interrupted an AOC townhall meeting in Queens wearing a shirt like that saying that humanity should eat babies, among other ridiculous things, to address the climate crisis.
