there is one other girl in there with a great Carol suit; I would say better than the "summer suit" I have now, because it's at least complete and detailed and has, y'know, sleeves. it is purchased, but that isn't even the point (and I know I'm bonkers for trying to make this)

I did! and it isn't a competition or anything, because it is literally whoever claims it first. I have held off on claiming quickly lately because I know this girl wants to be her, too - so it's like, I don't want to monopolize the character

I don't want to feel like "this is mine and you can't have her" - she and I literally had a conversation about this last week, how she's building her repertoire of costumes that work for events. and I think she and I are in the same boat there - we have costumes, but since we make most of them ourselves, it's a slow process

I know a lot of people who swear by zentai suits and that's how they have a huge roster. Can't say I'd personally feel comfortable in one of those?

Supergirl is definitely recognizable but the costume needs a lot of work to be comfortable. Ditto Elsa. and those two usually get claimed very quickly.

I don't want to do another big project after I'm done with this build but it might be worth it to fix up Elsa to a wearable state. the skirt needs replaced (it has a huge coffee stain on it and is too short) and it needs proper sleeves.
