Welp. I think I know what the biggest stumbling block with me building things in Sketchup is: I have no actual reference. That 2D person that's popped into a scene isn't useful for me. I need to be able to import a floor plan, which, as far as I can tell, I can't do with the free version (also, it's in browser, which is frustrating as hell).
