Suggestions from mom friends of how to mask the taste of a medicine for the kiddo. She needs some of the children's zyrtec, but this shit tastes awful.

she won't even take it. she spits it right out.

if there's a way for her to take a pill form you can always wrap that up in some ice cream and get her to swallow not chew, that's how i taught Vincent to take pills

you would think in this day and age they'd find a way to make medicine easier for kids... a lot of that stuff tastes like shit and its so hard to get them to take it vincent usually just chooses to suffer

if you can figure out how to strike a deal with her, like she can have some of her favourite something if she will just endure the gross, that might work, but some kids are more stubborn than others >_<

this is a liquid. it was all i could find. >< I've thought about sucking it up in the syringe with some chocolate milk. dunno of that'd work.

I've noticed masking the taste of liquid meds usually works better with juice of some sort.

Orange juice was the savior when I had to give my son liquid nastiness when he was younger. Now bribes work.

yeah juice or soda that's like.. citrus in flavour usually works for us. sprite or orange crush.

and for vincent soda is a very seldom given treat so he's like omg yes i will endure for soda

I'll have to get her some OJ. The chocolate milk worked for now. ><
