And it's not even for anything real either. The headlight isn't "bright enough"

and apparently the state changed the time-frame for getting a fix-it ticket fixed. I have to get it all done by tomorrow at 5pm

(if the headlight had been out I would accept that. I understand giving a ticket for a light being out. but not bright enough? why.)

wtf? how do they measure that? what are their standards for "bright enough"?

have your headlights been changed recently? a couple years back, my dad had an issue with the frames not being properly adjusted after changing bulbs and it did make a significant difference in brightness.

I don't think he ever got pulled over for it though, he just was very aware of it and drove more carefully until he could get it fixed

not recently, no. (my sister wanted us to drive her car, so it's not mine at all. BUUUUT if it doesn't get fixed, the ticket/fine goes to me because I was driving)
