because even though I brushed my teeth and did salt water rinses when I ate, there was still some kind of nasty plaque buildup in them, plus the taste of the sutures themselves

and there was only one little nip with a scissor/tweezer point when she had to get the knot out from under my busted tooth edge, so yay!
