I'll probably bounce back and forth between Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Zelda: Ocarina of Time today. I'm at an early point in both games. I'll probably post my thoughts here as I play.
megadoomer
I want to play Celeste, but the difficulty of that game is intimidating. I'm not even halfway through and I've died roughly 400 times, and the levels are only going to get more difficult from here.
megadoomer
I'll start with Fire Emblem; I'm hoping that the game's calendar system isn't as strict as I'm worrying that it is.
megadoomer
Jeritza just said "I care nothing of friendship" - now I KNOW he's evil! Haha
megadoomer
Not sure whether I should focus on quests first or raising my professor level.
MooseChangerPat
Yeah Jeritza was just... suspicious right from the start xD
megadoomer
And it jumped straight to the mock battle. I was hoping I'd have the two days between to prepare, or complete the other two quests that it gave me.
megadoomer
I don't know if there are any benefits to giving people flowers for their birthday, but I did just to be safe.
megadoomer
Good to know that magic replenishes itself after each battle.
megadoomer
Not sure what it means if a unit has green under them.
megadoomer
Oh, it means that whatever unit that I have selected can heal them - I should have remembered that from other FE games.
megadoomer
Just found out the hard way that Dimitri can attack twice.
MooseChangerPat
I think you can still use Sothis' power to turn back time
MooseChangerPat
Also giving flowers on the birthday is a nice way to get points towards their support
megadoomer
I'm on casual mode anyway, so it's not a huge deal. (Besides, I don't think it's introduced how to use that power during gameplay yet)
MooseChangerPat
O rly?
MooseChangerPat
Okay then
megadoomer
The story just introduced a mysterious armoured figure who's wearing a mask, has an altered voice, and is covered in feathers. I'm going to assume that it's someone that I've already been introduced to, given the whole voice changing thing. (Possibly Jeritza)
megadoomer
The scheduling seems more lenient than Persona 5, though it's a shame that you can only complete quests one day a week, if that.
megadoomer
I've found the amiibo gazebo - shame that I don't have any Fire Emblem amiibos, but it's nice to know that this game has amiibo support.
megadoomer
I feel like the classes will be beneficial, but I got a lot of information thrown at me at once, so I'm not sure if I took it all in.
megadoomer
Given the rate that he's been getting critical hits at, Byleth seems pretty powerful.
megadoomer
Not sure if I should bother changing Byleth's class or not. The only option that has a guaranteed class change only increases his speed by one. I've reached the battle against the bandits, so I'll try that without changing class - I can't imagine that such a small stat change will make a difference.
megadoomer
Entering my first real battle, and I got the power to rewind time.
megadoomer
Looking over the support list, I don't know what the two symbols over some letter (like quotation marks) mean, but I'm surprised that some units can only reach a B support at most. (Ex. Edelgard and Petra) Also, Byleth seems to be the only person that anyone can reach S support with, though I assume that will change.
Doctor Ansem
I'll note that characters have paired endings if they A rank each other and are at the highest amount of support points with each other.
Doctor Ansem
S-rank is Byleth exclusive and usually involves marriage.
megadoomer
Taking a break for lunch - I just have one unit (the boss of the thieves) left to beat.
megadoomer
I'm about four hours into the game now; I increased my professor level, and I'm glad to see that it makes it so I can do more activities in a day.
megadoomer
I feel like I should be able to play it at my own pace, without having to worry about what the most efficient method is to use the days that I'm given.
