Well if you're unable to decide because they're all waifu/husbando material, you should probably decide by gameplay and how they will improve your farming/challenge content/etc.

I looked at Kerry, and his niche is an arts-based crit assassin with a targettable taunt, but has subpar NP gain. CasGil's buffs might be able to shore up those weaknesses.

On the other hand, Nito works fine as a standalone Assassin ember farm or Assassin/Berserker waveclear character with her skillset.
