So the White House wants to keep Guantanamo, even wants money for a high security section... and it doesn't want external medics in there.

The White House does not want any additional security for the election process...

Also it doesnt want the Senate to snoop into classified things, cause it would " infringe on the President's control over national security information"

Also Mr Trump wants a Space Force as a 6th Branch of the army ... with the allowance to move members of the other branches to the Space Force any time.

It seems like he's enacting every single thing the tinfoil hat people were (are?) sure the Democrats and Independents are wanting to do. And then they also want to arm every crazy person on the street and take away protections (birth control, mental health care, equal opportunuties) for any minority classes. It's worse than despicable. It's terrifying.

I think the US government thinks they will be the first if there's any alien contact ever, and then they wanna keep it as secret as possible and silently move over as much personnel as needed...

I've really had to tell myself often that nothing lasts forever. Even me.

That's ego, fear, and nihilistic thinking on their part. Too many movies.

I think the people in power are ego-driven and not willing to see past their own crooked noses. It's sad and kind of scary.

OTOH, every department in every administration (every country) will complain about constraints and budgets. So this not not really a trump thing. The direction it goes is a bit trumpian though . . .
