I'm thinking a school reading program kinda ended up accidentally crossing over with some weird phenomenon, and now personifications of in-universe fictional characters are running around, and it's up to imports to find them and bring them back to the library so someone can fix this nonsense. But: All of the books are Super Sanitised Fairytales.
So what the goal is, is basically to run around and get these harmlessly goofy or over-the top characters from a 2nd grade reader. The goal would be for it to be a bunch of levity. No real threat, but the characters working together to collect a bunch of characters who are going around painting roses red and stealing 40 apples.
If I can get some help with coming up with a reasonable cause of all this, there can also be a little mystery that characters who don't usually get to solve mysteries (or at least don't get to on MoM) can work on, since this isn't really a big enough deal that half the imPort community needs to solve immediately.
That was one of the things I loved best about the original King's Quest series and Roberta Williams. She really did nonviolent solutions to fairy-tale problems well. And rewarded you for doing them.
non-violent methods will likely be the best, because those are honestly the cutest.

possibly adam?? since he's eleven years old and has reality-warping powers and has accidentally caused benign mischief based on things he believes in, so if Skree is interested, maybe his abilities mingled w some other magic / an even younger kid...
OMIGOSH. That sounds like a blast. If Adam's player is willing that would work amazingly. I could offer nightfall (12, public persona believes in fairytales) as a person to try to convince him that sometimes fairytales are real.
