Anyway this is a callout for 𝔞𝔢𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔫𝔞✶𝔞𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔱𝔢𝔰 , who should consider taking a look at a series called The Riyrie Redemption

Which is a high fantasy set about a pair of mercenaries

One of which is a surly amoral thief/assassin who pretends he doesn’t care about anything but money while getting pulled into adventures because of his much more good aligned partner

At the part I am at he is currently sulking because he’s stuck on a ship and seasick and his partner has forbidden him from killing anyone

He described the ocean as “even better than a bathtub full of lye for disposing of dead bodies”
