[school] okay I wanna be sort of lame for a second

so I'm taking this Exhibition Design class, and like. This is the shit I wanna DO? And the professor that teaches it was the Exhibition Designer for the Greenville County Art Museum for like 15 years so it's gonna be a super cool class

ANYWAY, she came to our opening reception tonight and caught me while I was attending the upper gallery, and we talked about one of the new pieces, and it was just? Nice to have a professor talk to me like I had a clue what I was saying?

Like, SO FAR it's been her and the theory professor (who's also one of the co-directors)

and I know it's week one of my first term back in the mires of Academia

but it was just...really nice? Because this is someone who's doing WHAT I WANT TO DO! Like, in terms of professional path (maybe not the part where I get hired by a school and pretend to be an Art Historian to teach behind a department chair)

ANYWAY

IT WAS A GOOD CLOSE OUT FOR MY FIRST WEEK

AND I DON'T HAVE TO WAKE UP EARLY TOMORROW

look when zosha called me brilliant i just wanted to talk to her all the time
