the conversations we have are like
"hey is Ellen coming in today?"
"no she's out of town for the long weekend"
"oh that's cool what's she doing?"
"looking at colleges with her daughter"
"I hope she has a good time."

"why are you here so early?"
"I woke up at 5 and couldn't go back to sleep"
"so you came to work??"
"gotta dodge that traffic!!"

at my work if my boss comes by and sees me watching a movie cause its slow we talk about the movie/show and then he tells me which ball game he has on

bosses and workplaces like that are garbage and exist only to make small people feel powerful in whatever small ways they can

It's funny because like at first I wanted to point out that this is going to result in a decrease in productivity based on numerous studies

But then I was like actually why tell you when I can show you

time to take more poop breaks to play on your phone because your mind is numbing in your head
