for Dandy it's a weirdness of commitment despite him already being loyal as fuck and then for Maya it's the whole concept of marriage as it is entailed in Kurain is Unappealing

she doesn't like the idea of essentially having to use someone for heirs and knowing they're likely going to skip out because they have no power in the village, even though she knows Dandy's not liek that and that in ryslig at least it would.... not really be the issue
