Coffee with dad went okay. He talked most of the time (about himself and complaining about others) and I just nodded and focused on my coffee cup. He’s so ridiculously negative about everything. He said he was happy to see me...whatever. I’m glad it’s over and done with.

this reminds me so much of my dad. I'm glad it went reasonably okay but I'm glad you don't have to deal with him for awhile either.
