Here is today's ConBravo plurk. unfortunately starting with why is someone dressed up as the nostalgia critic in the year of our Lord 2019?

attack on Titan Junior high sure is a thing that exists for some reason

I actually know nothing about him other than his reviews are overly simplified and rely on gimicks

Though that may be all my film school talking

there was a ton of drama where it turned out he and his brother were treating the other creators on the site like shit

oh, funsies

they never provided food or water during the anniversary film shoots and he insisted on people doing scenes they weren't comfortable with

he sounds like a wonderful person to work eith

and has done a remarkable job of removing that data from easy to view web sources

may be that

there is a document floating around where a bunch of former contributors from the site compiled all the shit

The site went from dozens of creators to him and one other guy (well, two but Guru Larry basically only stayed because he wanted to see if the higher ups remembered he was still there... I didn't even know he was ON the site until all that) so it was all really public

I'm not sure if I should laugh, or feel bad for this Larry guy

Larry actually does just fine on YouTube now without Channel Awesome, so don't feel bad for him. He was laughing the entire fucking time and thankful that they forgot about him so they couldn't abuse him the way they did other contributors

Yeah, I watch him and found him via Youtube and didn't realize he was even ON Channel Awesome until he was laughing during the drama

I didn't either, but I think it's hilarious that he's like "well, they forgot I existed and so I'm sticking around to watch this burn. Fiddle on, Nero."

And, honestly, his work is so much better than NC could have hoped.

I suspect even if they had treated people well and the NC had good content Channel Awesome's days of relevance would have been numbered once everyone moved back to Youbute

Very true, but the fact that they shot themselves in the foot before that became a reality is just beautiful

People needed it when they were all on Blip since you coudln't really casually browse Blip to find new creators

but they sure managed to accelerate their decline
