16. tbh I think Zenos was the very first person to ever really make him feel inferior in any way. because before he'd come across enemies that were strong, challenging absolutely, but he'd been able to beat them. but when zenos was first introduced during the raid of the reach, he was on such different level than seto that he stood no chance of beating

him, he couldn't even protect his friends or anyone else in the reach or let alone himself, he just threw him down without any effort at the time and that really made him feel a lot smaller than he thought he was. ofc now hes a lot stronger to where seto definitely feels hes more on equal grounds with him in terms of strength but before--

30. he's definitely had a lot of self confidence issues! moreso in arr (a lot of it stemming from the attack on the waking sands which took a heavy toll on him mentally since that was the first big traumatic experience he'd ever been through and also the end of 2.55) and hw. hw was a really important time for him cuz it centered in around a lot of those

problems and at the same time was when he started to slowly overcome them since he started training a lot harder to be stronger and to imrpove himself and that was also when he became a dark knight which opened his eyes to a lot of things and helped him to embrace his faults, his own darkness and the realities around him.

drk is what really solidified him. i think by the end of hw/3.55 he was A Lot more confident in himself and his strength, WHICH OFC GOT SHOT DOWN BY ZENOS IN 4.0 but it definitely wasn't as much of a heavy toll as it was before because it was then he had that strength in him to stand back up again

and try to be better because he knew he could whereas before it took him a long time to get to that point and gather up the strength to. now come shb he definitely still feels some self doubt on occassion but now its more of acknowledging he can be better and moving forward and working hard To be better in whatever way he feels he has to

THERE WE GO

BUT YEAH HE'S COME A LONG WAY IN HIS OWN SELF CONFIDENCE and how he holds himself. there was only one crucial moment in shb where he really fell back down and that was the fight after vauthry and he became a sin eater, but i feel like that was more of a moment of feeling lost than anything and he was able to keep moving after his talk with ardbert
