I swear, getting adults together to do a thing is weirdly hard

back in early June, I sent a text to friends asking if they wanted to do a weekend trip (one of them had already mentioned wanting to)

we hashed it out that we couldn't do anything before late July at the earliest

then nothing (and one friend never replied)

so, Monday I sent a text asking if it was happening and saying I could do something the weekend after next

and I've gotten no replies

I've got other things I can do

it's mostly annoyance that I'm not the one who even thought of it in the first place and yet I'm the one being the most proactive (as usual)
