Nope! Only newer homes tend to have central air. Everyone else puts up with the heat or gets window units. We live in a house built in 1915 so there was no central air then and we have radiators for heat! We only just had to get window units last summer because before that our heat waves were not that bad.

Yeah we have a couple window units ready to go when we move in, our house was built 1901 so similar issues!
