Okay, guys. Hit me with your best cramp relievers. I'm on dose 2 of Midol and hours of heating pad use with zero relief.

I'm desperate. I'll try whatever at this point. I have an eight and a half hour shift to work today.

Sounds stupid, but can often work. Get yourself in a comfortable position where you can start for a while. Put your hands low on your abdomen where it's most hurting and focus on the pain. Imagine the color it must look like - perhaps an angry red or black. Then imagine what color you think it should be - a soothing blue, light pink, soft white - whatever

works for you. Then imagine that gentle energy starting at the center of the pain and slowly changing it to the softer more soothing color. Keep focusing and breathing, start with a tiny dot of the color in the middle and focus on pushing it out to change all the angry painful color.

Once you've found it once it's easier to just reach out a hand and place it there and focus a bit as you do other stuff and still find some relief.
