Sometimes I remember that Hammerfight exists and then I feel a little better about things

Hammerfight is this weird Russian indie game about steampunk helicopters that fight by attaching giant hammers a flails and shit to themselves and swinging them at each other by flying in circles to build up centripetal force

honestly reminds me vaguely of grapplers.

which is the dumbest concept from Outlaw Star but I love it.

But it’s got awkwardly translated dialog for an enormously epic plot about intrigue and war between noble houses

I briefly tried this out

and discovered that like

it might not be POSSIBLE for me to by worse at a game

than I am at Hammerfight

That’s too bad

like I was fighting the weakest enemies in the game and routinely killing myself

And the controls are kinda wonky

I love it for its creativity though
