[Jewelry] Well, if you squint at the lower right corner, you can almost see where I actually managed to do a misshapen dot inlay. Lines are definitely a work in progress.

This is a test piece involving 16 gauge yellow brass sheet and 22 gauge fine silver wire. The black is Japanese black pitch on a block of wood we are using as a substitute for a pitch bowl, which can be angled for a curved piece being inlaid.

The goal of the Kaga Zogan technique is to get a flush surface with the various colors of metal, although dots can be domed or lines textured if desired.
