today is rather mixed weather-wise. Not exactly safely sunny/clear for raiding the shops but not rainy enough for the garden either.

there was enough sunshine a while ago for one of the blackbirds to try a spot of sunbathing on the lawn. It didn't last long though.

it's definitely warmer out there. There are a few honey bees busily harvesting at the "flowers" of the variegated shrub. Mrs Slocombe's heads are just starting to show the first hints of bluish tinged white.

Is it some version of, "spring in the Kootenays"? It comes like a surprise...
