fun fact, in the context of the manga, the griffin up there is actually kind of sheltering a bunch of children who've been abandoned in his forest... but he's a fucking griffin, he doesn't know shit about actually raising or caring for kids
like he can give them food, and a cave to hide in, but that's it. So he ends up sort of recruiting a "wanderer" (aka isekai protag) who has the mind of an adult in a kid's body to take care of them in his stead
