A lot of her character motivation and what goes into making her jaded was completely left out of the movie, making it harder to connect with her character, which was unfortunate. Maybe if I hadn't read

the book I would have enjoyed it, but my daughter felt the same, she really liked the book but thought the movie just had way too much kissing and left out all the important stuff
