[cooking] omg i made some (slightly cheater) pasta primavera tonight and YOU GUYS IT WAS SO GOOD

this is perhaps to be expected or something because, admittedly, if you throw heavy cream and garlic at anything at all it has a pretty good chance of turning out delicious
236 bees
but my gosh
236 bees
the 'cheater' part comes because i used frozen stir fry vegetables, then threw in some mushrooms and tomatoes because i had them lol

the recipe, for anyone curious:
236 bees
frozen stir fry vegetables in a pan to thaw them out, throw in mushrooms and tomatoes, look back at the recipe i'm very very loosely referencing and realize there's supposed to be browning garlic in there and go 'whoops' so rake everything over to the side of the pan and throw in a pat of butter, then crush and mince a clove of garlic and sweep that in

leave it that way for a while then stir everything together
236 bees
after i figure that's been done sufficiently add in some amount that was probably closer to half a cup than a quarter cup of chicken stock and also some amount of heavy cream
236 bees
stir together for a while before remembering none of this is seasoned so throw in some herb de provance, pepper, and kosher salt
236 bees
simmer it for idk a while, add a bunch of parm cheese, decide it's still way too thin, continue simmering, taste and realize there's nowhere near enough salt, continue adding salt
236 bees
cook some spaghetti and throw it in with this sauce when the spaghetti is done
236 bees
IT WAS REAL GOOD
