as you probably know we're a team(+optional amnesia) game, PvE, set on a magical train. RIGHT NOW we are super tiny so things are slow but we'd like to reach a more middling place

our app is pretty simple and fast and our mod team is here to make things fun and find ways to work in whatever you'd like to do

our tone is a little silly but middling-dark with plenty of traumatic games and troublesome setting elements, so there's plenty of get your character into if you're looking for it!

yes. Things there are especially to enjoy:
> you can build things up and unlock new parts of the train just by doin' normal stuff
> you can run your own games (trials) and they can be either light-hearted or dark, as you wish
> you start with a cute uniform but then can buy new clothes of different styles or trade! play fashion with your characters!

> your characters get paid to do random nice things but as some have discovered you can also get paid to do shit like glitterbomb your friends or just bang a lot

depending on your team you have different stuff you can do for sparks (IC points). we're going to add a second Bond to each team later this month after apps are processed, according to the players' ooc discussion, so if you join this month you get in on that

also since we did have a period of slow and look to be busying our schedule this month again, now is a great time to feel like you're in on the ground floor or at least, coming in at the start of a wave of games and things, on small enough teams to contribute to the way they grow!

I just spent several minutes trying to write some question to pinpoint The Expected Levels of Darkness but I just realized that characters ICly running trials on their own would solve my primary concern of learned helplessness pretty nicely right there. That seems like a nice mechanic right there.

There is some actually neat stuff here...I am literally packing up for a week-long trip right now though so if I app, is it possible to ask for a like hold on placement? (There's a chance I might NOT app if I don't find time to do so but...I really really like the idea of PC Character Run Trials/Games as a mechanic...)
