[dreams] I've always been p good at remembering dreams but the past like. month I have just been really particularly good and it's kind of weird but hey!

one was, I found two dachshund doggos down the street from the house and took them in obviously and one had a note attached like

in lieu of a collar I guess???? with names and address and phone number of who owned them

and it was late at night and I call them up like HEY I GOT YOUR DOGS?? and they were like COOL here's what you need to take care of them overnight before you drop them off to us in the morning

and I was like ??? I live right in town this street's a bit far off but like. I can just come over. it's like quarter til 10 don't you want your dogs back??

(no it did not occur to me in the dream that if they had a note attached then this was either deliberate or happens a lot)

and I'm like 'guys I have a job and a life and I'm not gonna just take care of your not-so-lost dogs for you??'

I don't really remember how that one ended tbh I don't think it had much of a resolution

but my OTHER dream last night was

modern au where spock and kirk grow up as half-brothers

and get to hang out/live with kirk's mom over the summer I...guess but spock goes back to sarek's house once school starts up or something along those lines

winnona wasn't seen but she did yell at them when they got too loud indoors so I get the impression of stressed drunk /shrug

found a mouse friend outside, procrastinated on packing up spock's things, they were real cute. and they'd see each other at school so it wasn't like they'd never see each other again they just wouldn't be living together with all the free time in the world I guess

here's a new one from me just waking up. it started out as a kidnapping plot. well, actually it started out as a car stealing plot?? it's a little unclear but it at first involved nick torres from ncis getting in over his head on an undercover op, and then it turned into karl urban playing this lead character instead

and he and his family get kidnapped and then he gets let go or dumped off or somesuch, has to find his fam. takes a good long while. there are bullets involved and all kinds. but he finds his wife having made a life for herself in the interim

...with a pet shark in her swimming pool

I don't. I don't know where this part came from other than a few weeks ago on ncis some dipshit kept a shark in an aquarium. like a desk aquarium not. an appropriate sized one. idk!

but she'd take lazy swims there and he warily got in the water with her and it mostly chilled and swam around under them while she monologued about what happened in the interim

like I promise the car-stealing-and-kidnapping part of the dream was overall longer but the shark in the pool part was before I woke up so I"m like focused on that, and how it got too cold in the mrnings and evenings that the water would freeze over and she'd have to drill a hole in the ice to feed it

(and then they went inside and on tv there was joe manganiello in some ridiculous superhero-themed costume for some ellen-like show)
