[work] the best thing about today is that it is already half over. \o/

I switched my shift to open this morning, and came in at 7:30 am, and though I had to get up at 5am, I get to leave at 4:30 PM and only have to deal with my worst co worker for 2 hours! \o/

she has been getting on my nerves extra hard lately too.

like catching her doing something wrong and telling her what she should do I stead and getting the reply "who's pay check will it come out of? so who cares."

shes also always late, and on weekends she can be anywhere from an hour to two hours late.

she's a desaster and stressful because she cant manage herself, customers, or production. shes worked here 3 years longer than me, bit asks me how to do stuff.

but if I correct her, she gets mad.

I really wish we could fire her.

the thing that gets me the most is that she will go on about how she's the "hardest worker here" and I'm always internally screaming "you are the laziest here!!"

the past 3 days I had to work with her she made my mood plummet. like the last time I saw her she was bitching about how dare she have to work 6 days in a row (stuff had to be shifted around and we are understaffed. it made a closing shift empty and shes part time so she was the only one who wouldn't go over time bu filling the spot.)

and why I wasnt the one to do it instead.

and I'm like, well, I would have over time, and also, I am switching shifts for the morning the day after, like hell I'm going to close at 10pm and be here at 7:30 the next morning!

for one, I would have to get over time for that because it's less than 10 hours inbetween.

I commute 2 hours each way, that's crazy!

she lives like 15 minute car drive away

I'm waiting for our new assistant manager to be fully trained and work on weekends, so he can see how she is.

because a lot of what she gets away with is because there is no manager around when she works.

and we are so understaffed anyone who can close is good enough

but when out assistant manager is trained he will probably be a closer and weekend person.

so maybe, she will have to shape up or ship out.

and still not here, an hour late. sigh.
