I feel you on her Not Showing Up, like, on the one hand, they're a performing orchestra who are practicing for a show coming up very soon, so if she's not answering calls and stuff they have to fill her role asap, but on the other hand
so they might, like, want to fill the role with auditions for a long term thing after she was missing for a wHILE but missing for a couple days is like HEY (SECOND CHAIR) CAN YOU STEP IN IF SHE'S NOT BACK
& I agree they'd open up auditions in general but if she's only been gone for 1-2 days would they fill the role permanently with an audition or have 2nd chair sub, basically
