I joked that I needed another work-from-home day to catch up on all of my work emails... but this morning my car won't start so I guess it ain't a joke anymore.

We're pretty sure the solenoid is on the fritz or something... My dad's going to jump my car this afternoon and we'll get it down to the ol' shop at the bottom of the hill.

The battery died earlier this weekend so I'm not actually that surprised.

This is just kind of my luck lately, lmao.

Well, it's a 1990 Pontiac Bonneville so it is quite possibly as old as I am.

The nice thing about my car is that it was made in a time when the insides of cars were relatively simple, so it isn't usually that hard to fix...

The downside of my car is that basically all of the parts are nearly 30 years old so there's always something in it that needs to be replaced.
