seen a small bee checking out the crocus flowers - which are wide open in the warm sunshine with anthers full of pollen (and possibly have some nectar too).

some of the larger dark purple crocus flowers have now joined the many but smaller pale mauve ones which are always out first.

it's all cloudy out there now but it was definitely generating some electricity on the solar panels for a while.

we were “on green” the other day (which is what we call it when the solar panels are producing more than we are consuming).
