I am dying at how everyone has a British accent, except for the actors who definitely didn't want to

Commissioner Gordon? American.

Bullock? Scottish...ish.

yeah i guess you can say that some people are newly immigrated

but it's kind of...haha

they flat out call Bruce "a native son of Gotham" so he should be british

in the 1800s they wouldn't have british accents though. i was saying more that bullock was an immigrant

last i remember the movie is set in like old-timey jersey

well new jersey

I thought it was supposed to be more London, because half of the cast is doing a british accent

including the robin trio

tbf robin might just be using an accent for fun

yeah it's gotham as it would be in the 1800s. so it should be in new jersey still.

the accents are just weird in the movie, but i guess the implication is the "poorer" people have old world type accents instead of the prestigious "American" accent? like hell if i know what is going on

also i will forever headcanon this tim being some rich kid who ran off to join the circus only burned down and dick had to keep looking after him despite tim having wealthy ass parents off doing some egyptian excavation and never knew their kid ran away from the nanny

because like hell is the nanny going to write to them that their kid is missing until the very last minute
