Gaming. So I've booted up FF8. I've been playing for awhile, but right now I have it paused while I listen to the music and write some tags. <3

I overestimated the 10minute time limit in the fire cave, so I beat Ifrit with more than 3 minutes to spare. I should have dawdled more. XD

I've actually never beaten this game, so I'm planning on trying not to level up too much, too, and just abuse the hell out of the Junction system.

The most I'm doing battle-wise is for AP.

Final Fantasy VIII - Shuffle or Boogie [HQ]

There's not many games that you can snap in half by playing a card game, so FF8 is sorta near and dear to my heart because of that.

I've played that card game a little bit already. So far I like it? XD

It's fantastic once you get the card refine skills. Plus is a lot of fun just as a mini-game. Why do leveling when you can just nab good magic or items off the cards?

Yup.

I was told by my brother that if I wanted to, there's a way to get tornado spells and thundaga early, so if I junction it right, I can wipe out that mecha spider in the first seed mission.

Honestly, early game you should hold off on using junction spells and just abuse your summons.

Their calls are super-strong early, but drop off in late game.

You can just splatter the spider on the radio tower with Quetzacoatl.

The hard part isn't killing him, it's the first five rounds where you're forced to just spam Draw until it drops the Siren.
