[Borrowed Cat: The Saga]: One of my neighbor's friends came by to check on the orange brat and found it missing (because yours truly and aerolith whisked her away) Insert a 6-hour waiting montage somewhere in-between.

So the neighbor's friend calls my phone naturally the ONE TIME we leave the apartment to grab coffee

We say YEAH WE'LL BE RIGHT OVER and he's like Well, I've got work but I work close by so...

So we return and wait 6 hours for this friend of neighbor to return

He does with a friend of his own. They unceremoniously take the baby brat and shuffle back to the apartment

We head down to the 4th floor a little while after them where my neighbor and I live and find them taunting the spare apartment (THE EVIL 413) squawking MAO at it.

Which can mean only one thing: Dash... dashed.

Seeing these two's incompetence we are like Step aside, the cat whisperers are present

They were at this maaayyybe 10 min on their own. Anna and I go in and catch Dash in less than one minute and after some blood and struggling (futile) we get her out of the spare room. She makes another escape followed by more successful whispering

By now the neighbor is on the phone and the two friends are accepting their cat incompetence

Incatepence.

We get Dash into the correct apartment and the neighbor is eager to talk with us on the phone

HER ENGLISH??? IS LEGIT by the way and I'm honestly insulted she's never spoken with me prior. I'm not that intimidating

So we talk, she's grateful and asks us to look after YI YI, the real name, for the rest of her vacation time. We're also given her apartment key (not that it's needed because if you stand outside and make noise for more than 2 min Dash will happily open the door for you)

Basically, her friends got fired from cat-sitting. G O O D

With full range of her apartment we double check supplies and abandon the orange rascal for some personal alone time. That and those guys scared her pretty bad. Too many people is not what Yi Dash Yi likes so we all just really need a nap

THIS TIME we use a chair and so far so good. But boyyyy talk about some unfortunate wrist maneuvering to get that chair in place. The angle of the doorway is not meant for this

Side note: neighbor has a gaming chair and a gaming mouse. I am very insulted we are not already friends.

Also: Yi Dash Yi is 9 months old.

Y SHE LEAVIN A 9MO KITTY ALONE FOR 2 WEEKS???

I have opinions.

But we will teach her the catte ways
