[ffxiv] my reactions to the EU fanfet's keynote address (and now other fanfest panels too), in no particular order:

a) where are my bunny boys please tell me you're just hiding the bunny boys if I make puppy eyes at the artist whose panel is later today will she give me bunny boys

b ) I think I have >2 friends who will be (or already are) thrilled by Urianger with that fancy collar thing

c) Gunblades are fancy but why are you making me wait two more months to find out what, if anything, the new healer job is

d) thanks to playing a cleric of Titania in d&d I will never be able to look at other Titanias the same way again and want to smooch this one (but I suspect that unlike Isa's Titania, this one will not shrink themselves down to give better hugs to their tiny worshipper/friendling)

e) oh cool now we all get our own personal despair fluff following us around to tell us we're nothing, this game is getting more and more lifelike

f) as someone still only halfway through Nier (who just stubbornly refuses to play Automata until they're done with that but keeps getting sidetracked), I have no idea how a Nier raid story is going to work in Eorzea/on Hydaelyn but it seems exciting??

g) no but really stop hiding the bunny boys you can't possibly not have made any

(especially after giving us all that lore about male viera in ffxiv's universe)

(am still very charmed that you apparently can't tell male & female viera apart at all until they're teens)

(but yes my point is i am going to stubbornly keep believing in playable bunny boys)

point is exciting to me because it means there's going to be at least one fancy healer outfit designed specifically to look good on male elezen

my healer glam game is going to improve exponentially

and also a gunblade is very relevant to my interests, even tho I don't super care for the machinist class (idk if gunblades have anything to do with that class haha)

No, gunblades are the main weapon of thenew tank class

As for Urianger's new outfit...

Thancred is shown wearing a special version of the Gunbreaker's gear (the aforementioned gunblade-wielding tank class), so the same could be true for Urianger and a hypothetical new healer class, even though he's shown as an astrologian in the trailer/screenshots.

oh I was just thinking that they'd eventually sell it on the Mogstation as-is

like they do most of the 2.0 and 3.0 scion outfits

That was my first thought, but then they showed the Gunbreaker's AF gear on this elezen here, and it seems very similar to what Thancred is wearing already:

h) the crossover event with 15 looks cute. Camping with Noct in Eorzea!

oh nooooo that gunbreaker outfit is good, I'm hype

(also: gather several friends in one place so four of you can drive/fly around in the Regalia together. They've saif the XV event is coming in mid-April)
