this maybe? Try turning the laptop off by holding the power button down until the laptop shuts off. Wait a few seconds and then turn the laptop on, press Enter and then F12 when you see the Lenovo splash screen. This should give you the options to try a different boot source.

maybe this too? The HP Hard Drive Self Test can repair most errors. Turn on the computer and press f10 to boot into the BIOS Setup and select Hard Disk Test. Restore the system to a known good configuration using Microsoft System Restore. Turn on the computer and press f8 and then select Boot into Safe Mode.

i can't find anything useful. it's windows right? if you can get to the microsoft website try chatting with a tech? that's what i did. they got me to the point i could at least get my files off, although the comp now is basically a doorstop B( i did get files tho!
