rl] my cousin's been dropping hints about not taking salem back ('i can't find a place that lets pets in' and the such) and she FINALLY just outright asked if we'd keep him and i was like WELL DUH so i guess i own a cat now

she's going to pay for his food and litter still but we get to keep him longer than a month most likely forevers so i'm fucking thrilled

And I wonder if your cousin may not have intended this.

yea i'm not sure if it was intentional or not, i told her she could visit anytime to see him and she dismissed it but i'm just happy to have a kitty. double win that she's paying for the food and litter so all the cat and no worrying about getting what he needs

Make sure you pick Salem up lots while still young. To acclimatize him so he likes pets and cuddles.

he is such a cuddle bug, any lap open is his lap for a good couple hours i love it, but i've been snuggling him as much as possible, he makes me feel so much better
