but it turns out Haruto talks to other people and is on a unit and in general continues to exist even when Yasuragi looks away from him weird

obv not that Yasun was functionally unaware of any of these things, it’s just that it was in fact irrelevant to all of their interactions before,

there even was a point was early on when Yasuragi was worried WC might target Taisho because Yasun was a dick to Haruto but then WC completely randomizes things

and from then on there continued to be basically no consequences for either of them just being shitheads to each other every time they looked at each other

and no one has ever like, talked to him about Haruto in other contexts or anything either so

Haruto was to him just this little island oasis in the middle of imeeji, unspoiled by human hands, where he could act like a complete unrepentant asshole with 0 consequence for it

so he doesn’t exactly like Haruto and is still sometimes residually frustrated about wanting Haruto to pay attention to him but he also is just comfy with him

or WAS, UNTIL THEY BOTH EXISTED IN A CLOSED ROOM FULL OF A BUNCH OF OTHER PEOPLE

Aries also just spoke for Haruto which is like, to Yasun def a show of some kind of power dynamic and/or level of closeness between them
