The new Young Justice comic is very Bendis. Which, y'know, writer.

Impulse is as obnoxious as ever, though Bendis can't be blamed for that.

But given that I thought the original comic wasn't good, my thoughts that it's very true to the original might be taken with a grain of salt there.

But, yeah, the art's not bad, but the dialogue is super stereotypical and seems there just to make a checkmark list of tropes.

"Is that a real gun?"
"A real gun?"
"With real bullets?"

It's a shame, because this is really good art, but the writing.

Also, it comes with the ol' trademark "Bendis ignores anything he didn't write" crap.

Tim being regular Robin, Tim knowing the 'real' Bart Allen (The last 'Bart' turned out to be "Bar Torr", and Tim knew this), Young Justice having been a thing in the past, and Connor Kent having been a thing.

(All of which doesn't fit with the current story, but who cares because Bendis Is Coming)
