Hulu has new Outer Limits, now I just need to find what the fuck episode it was that was like the serious version of Blast From The Past

that was like, 'this compound is the only safe area in the world even though it sucks and resources are running out, the whole world is bad bad bad dead radioactive bad'

and it turns out that the world is A, fine and B, thriving and the military keeping people in the compound are actually malfunctioning robots

(and yeah, I just spoilered the hell out of the end, so anyone I show it too won't have the same surprise I did, but that's fine, because I figure no one really cares anyway)

so far S3 E7 'The Camp' is the only one that sounds remotely similar: "Mankind is now enslaved by an extremely powerful alien race in concentration camps. Although the foe seems unvanquishable, one woman dares to rise and challenge her Commander. Her example does not remain without an echo, but what will be the final result?"

The Camp is part of a three part arc that isn't in order.

Yeah, it's either that one or one of the follow ups, because it takes place in a world that...is basically what you described.

The follow up has some Biblical sounding name and was in the later seasons. Land of Milk and Honey, Promised Lands, something Moses-y.

there's a couple with titles like that, yeah

But it's gonna be one of those universe episodes, I would bet on it.
