What makes you think they wont? xD I don't think they trained the Kingdom's soldiers to play video games.

i didn't see any mechas during the sendoff so i was thinking that them using mechas might be something no longer used. XD

Pretty sure they haven't reached the spot where they can launch the mechas to the frontlines, and that's reserved for ep2.

With that technology enough for them to space travel and migrate to other planets I find it hard to believe there won't be any mechas
