(trans positive) just a lame thing rly

my dad has been such a genuinely good guy about the whole thing, im a little floored. i havent been correcting him on name mistakes but i do correct him whenever he says "girl" as in like... "hey, gurl" basically i guess LMAO

and like... sometimes ill correct him on pronouns but like. im not gonna sweat it i know he cares and is trying

but earlier he popped in, started to high five me while saying 'way to go, girl!' realized i wiffed the highfive bc he said 'girl', correct himself and went back in for the high five AMLKAHJH

and then after a little dialogue said that i should ALWAYS be correcting him and like

my dads a disaster, ive complained about him here and there and have been very frustrated with him, but hes also a damn hero
