Sometimes I am forced to wonder whether reading comprehension is a rarer talent/skill than I previously thought.

I think as attention spans get shorter & shorter, reading comprehension goes out the window

uschi : you are so right. I often own up to where I am deficient... and am constantly wondering how I am doing, and how I can do better. Sometimes I forget that other people aren't as self-conscious (in both good and bad ways)
