We were supposed to be the first store they visited, but then all of a sudden we were the second store and...no indication on when they changed that plan and decided not to inform us???

So that's an extra forty minutes of my life I'm never getting back except in the form of too little compensation.

I was a little vexed. Possibly hangry.

For six hours I was running on Starbucks canned coffee and some cornflakes with milk.

Which is of course the day I get a customer needing me to re-calculate out the pricing on her receipt because our POS system is hella arcane.

She and her mom were super sweet, though, and she was very patient with me as I tried to figure out how to verify that our system wasn't cheating her.

OH and the other thing is that we all busted our asses especially good because not only was the RM visiting, but I think also the VP of merchandising or buying or something.

Some guy that was essentially the RM's boss or at least a superior, I think.

And then we found out like an hour before the original scheduled time that he wasn't going to come, with no explanation why.
