Ugh...you ever have one of those days that starts off on the wrong foot and you just want a do-over?

thanks...it's mainly grumbling about really petty stuff

like I picked out a blouse today that's started to get uncomfortably tight around the shoulders but by the time I left the house I was like, "guess I'm committed to this now", and then I spent most of both bus rides this morning being pressed into my seat by people who were not being considerate of my personal space

one of whom was an annoying coworker

and I was trying to read my book but she was right at my elbow, gabbing loudly to a fellow passenger

and then she teased me a little as we walked from the bus stop to the office building, but she's one of those catty people where you just know they're generally so mean-spirited and gossipy that you can't take their "well-meant" teasing at face value

so i get into work with an achy shoulder and just generally being grumbly

and now I'm just trying to get my groove back

I mean, today's our department's holiday lunch, and I get to wear my Star Wars holiday sweater to work, so that's something?
