I've successfully done nano before, but it's been a long time since I wrote anything that long, and having a patreon where people expect some level of continuous content (even if i suck at it the last few months :/ ) means I can't really concentrate on one story exclusively enough to write that much for it in one month......

It actually wasn't for one continuous story. I still haven't done that

Well. Six thousand words is like. Goal for me. As a story. I'd love to get something that long without splitting it in chapters.
