yeah i'm just thinking, with puppies you really don't want them to go without eating anything for more than 24 hours, because of their blood sugar

much more likely to be dietary indiscretion than anything else, but make sure he has access to water (sometimes when saga is particularly sick, i put ice and water in a pint glass and give it to her as "princess water")

I'm not sure how old he is exactly but distemper is usually vaccinated against, it's the "D" in the DHPP vaccine

the sticker from the bottle is just the expiration date, once it's given to the pup it's good for a year

oh no, we get stickers that tell us when the shots he has "expires" (ie, when to get vaccination renewals?) and his parvo one "expired" in october. does that make more sense?

vaccines are weird when it comes to expiration dates

because there's no way to say the vaccine lasts exactly 365 days

and there's some debate as to whether they need to be redone as often as they are

which is basically to say a dog that has a vaccine that's 1 month out of date is definitely still vaccinated

and I'm not saying don't vaccinate your dog or don't go get his shots updated, but more just saying there's a lot more to it then just the dates the vets write out
