I love some of them... not Lucas but one a couple of ex's back was a lovely man we just weren't compatible as a couple. he is still one of my best friends and I talk to him daily. my love for him has changed from the romantic kind to the sibling kind. also another ex who's parents tore us apart as teens.

I believe if it is true love then it's forever no matter what happens in the actual relationship. I think true love is very rare, however.
